The Body of Christ: Gifted

This week we turn to Paul's use of the illustration of the Body of Christ in Romans 12. Paul compares church members in Rome to body members each having a distinct function within the body. Paul opens this topic by calling us to present our own body as a living sacrifice. In this passage, he utilizes the idea of bringing our whole selves to the act of acceptable worship with the concept of coming alongside others in the church.
