God & Neighbor: Immanuel

We hope that you have had a truly blessed Christmas celebration. But what is true blessing? The earliest human understanding of blessing is wrapped up in unmediated Immanuel; wrapped up in a Bethlehem manger. When Jesus became incarnate God and neighbor, he brought the presence of God to our neighborhood. He modeled this ministry of presence for us. And we too can reflect this service to our family, church, neighbors, and world because of Immanuel: God with us!
