The cycles of John's visions of Justice from the Throne now transition into visions of the Judgment of Babylon, that great city of idolatrous seduction, represented by a vile prostitute. To begin with, John will be shown the relationship of this harlot to the demonic beast with his coalition of submissive world leaders contrasted with the Lamb and his chosen faithful.
