At Jesus' baptism, the heavens were torn and God the Father identified Jesus as His own: "This is my Son." But in Mark 15:33-39, the heavens grow dark with God's judgement on sin, and the Father does not respond to the mournful words of Jesus: "Why have you forsaken me?" Instead, Mark wants to highlight the Roman soldier confessing that "this man was the Son of God." Will you join him?
