Psalms: Blessed in the King

The first two songs of the Psalter come together to form an introduction to the whole book. Here, the anonymous psalmist lays out two paths: the way of the the righteous vs. the way of the wicked, i.e., blessed vs. dead. It is easy to recognize the wisdom genre of this poem as it follows the familiar fork-in-the-road format to encourage us to find refuge in the King and delight in his word.
