Forsaken and Faithful

Our poem for this Sunday is a painful and beautiful expression of the soul of a man in the midst of suffering... yet trusting. We all experience this tension in our own emotional lives, yet for God's people it is limited, earthly, and temporary. This can only be true, because the King Himself poured out his heart like wax on the cross and quoted this Psalm: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?".
