Gospeltality of the Law

As Jesus taught us, the law of Moses is well summarized by the word "love." The LORD prohibits and commands certain actions and even emotions for the care of our fellow human beings who bear His image. He demonstrates a special compassion for the poor, the sojourner, the alien, the vulnerable, and so it is no surprise that we find this chapter of Leviticus commanding God's people to show loving hospitality to neighbor and stranger alike.
