Glory Unveiled: Mighty Angel, Little Scroll

John's vision of God's judgment depicted through the symbols of 7 trumpets is paused for an intermission before its climax. In this interlude, John sees two related visions dealing with God sending prophets with His word into the world calling them to repent. In the first of these visions, John is cast in the role of prophet in the line of Old Testament prophets like Daniel, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah. And just like those holy men of old, he will find the justice of God bitter sweet.
