God & Neighbor: Indwelling

The is full of promises of God being present with creation in various, sometimes shocking, ways. The New Testament writers understood all the promises to be fulfilled in Jesus, the Word become flesh. While we may struggle with the mystery of God becoming human, how Jesus could be both God and Neighbor incarnate, Christianity has recognized from the beginning that God was in Jesus and Jesus in the Spirit.
