Life of Jesus: Executed

Jesus, the Son of God, and King of Israel, has come to the moment of His unjust execution described in Mark 15:22-32. All the abuse that He has already subjected Himself to does not compare to the crucifixion and derision He will endure in the final hours of His life. But why does the Creator and Sustainer of the universe humble Himself to such suffering? Ironically, we find the answer from the priests and scribes at the foot of the cross.
