It should come as no surprise that Jesus will meet strong opposition for overturning the cottage industry in the temple's Court of Gentiles. In Mark 11:27-12:12, those who were benefitting financially from that sacrilegious system now press Jesus to answer for His actions and authority. Little do they know, they are confronting the Son of God, and the Son of God is the rejected, but chosen Cornerstone!
