The time has come in Mark for Jesus to leave the temple for the last time, but on the way out, we find Jesus doing what He always does: teaching. Mark 12:38 through 13:2 records 3 lessons from the surrounding religious grandeur that leave Jesus unimpressed. This teaching culminates in the foreboding promise that when the Cornerstone is rejected, the temple will fall.
