The Mission
The mission of Open Door Baptist Church is the same commission Jesus gave the church almost 2,000 years ago: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
In summary, we are going, baptizing, and teaching to disciple all peoples for the glory of God.

The Vision
The vision of Open Door Baptist Church is be a family of authentic believers who care for one another and love our neighbors by proclaiming the life changing reality of the gospel of Jesus. Romans 12:4–5 teaches us that "as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." And this body is meant to move! Just as Jesus promised, "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8)
