Jesus came to reign and to save, but He also came to uproot and overturn. Mark begins to argue his final thesis point, that Jesus is the Son of God, in Mark 11:12-25. Even in the midst of cursing a fig tree, and clearing the temple, Jesus will teach with authority that all peoples are included in the family of God.
